• 20 Under 30s ARE doing specific things that are supremely interesting, or they’re doing things better than others their age.
• 20 Under 30s ARE NOT working on some vague website in their parents’ basement.
• 20 Under 30s ARE college students or young professionals trying to make a difference in the community and for their businesses or schools.
• 20 Under 30s ARE NOT only volunteers. We have a separate award, GO Givers, for which you are invited to nominate anyone who has a charitable streak, or
devotes their life to a non-profit (more on this soon).
• 20 Under 30s ARE residents of Springfield, or very near Springfield.
• 20 Under 30s ARE 29 years old or younger, and still will be as of May 21 2008.
Does that help? Hope so. Nominations end April 16.
Then mark your calendar for Thursday, May 29, when we’ll celebrate the honorees at Highland Springs Country Club with a gala and awards ceremony. For more information contact GO Associate Publisher Logan Aguirre, or e-mail editor@springfieldgo.com.
